We were thrilled to receive so many well wishes and congratulations last month after announcing the opening of our new business and would like to thank all of our past and present clients, neighbours and friends for their ongoing support and referrals which make us very humbled. The response to our brand has been overwhelmingly positive, with many of you describing our brand as “fresh”, “modern” and “sophisticated”. We’re glad you love it as much as we do.
We’ve had a brilliant start to 2018 with three properties sold and a 100% auction clearance rate, two of these being street record prices and a huge $2.1m achieved for 23 Agar Street Marrickville. With another hot auction this weekend at 56 Henson Street Summer Hill, we are very much looking forward to seeing the result as there is good interest in the home from multiple buyers.
We are also excited to announce our two new staff members, Rick Nicholson, Residential Sales Consultant and Tracey Nikolaou, Office & Marketing Manager. Having worked with Rick for 10 years, he was a natural choice as a team member, and Tracey is a long time resident of Stanmore & Marrickville, and a previous client with a keen eye for detail and a love of real estate so she fit the bill perfectly to assist us with our office management and property marketing.
It’s fair to say that we have returned to a more “normal” market, with the Sydney Auction Clearance Rate reported at 70% last weekend and interest rates on hold for now. This means that it’s a good time to trade, so if you are thinking of a sea change, tree change, upgrade or downsize, it’s a good time to pick up the phone and call us before the busy Easter rush. At present, we have very strong buyer enquiry in the $1.5m – $3m range, mostly from families looking to upgrade.
About 30% of people who purchase homes from us come from outside the Inner West, so we have put together some beautiful “Welcome Packs” and would like to thank all of the local businesses who have participated, with special mention to Reubens Gym who have generously donated free gym passes and Roastville Coffee filling the cups of new arrivals. We look forward to cross promoting many local businesses who have greatly supported our new arrival including Barzarri, Illi Hill, Café 2204, Fat Pigeon and Aplino Gelato.
